Privacy Policy
Effective January 2025
Helm is a personal task navigator built by Memriq Holdings. This policy describes what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you control it.
What we collect
- Account data — your email address, name, and Google account identifier, provided when you sign in with Google.
- Task and project data — the to-dos, notes, and kanban state you create inside Helm. Stored so your board persists across sessions.
- Planning agent interactions — conversations and instructions you give Marduk, Helm's planning agent. Used to generate your daily brief and re-prioritise your board.
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, and session timing, collected to improve the product.
How we use your data
- To run Marduk's daily brief and task prioritisation.
- To persist your kanban board and task history across sessions.
- To send transactional emails (invite confirmations, account notices).
- To improve Helm's planning quality and features.
Third-party services
Task and planning data is processed by OpenAI's models via their API to generate your daily brief and recommendations. Per our agreement with OpenAI, data submitted through the API is not used to train their models. We do not sell your data to any third party.
Authentication is handled by Google OAuth. We receive only the profile information you grant (name, email, avatar). We never receive your Google password.
Data retention
We retain your data while your account is active. If you request deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@memriq.com. We respond within 30 days.
